37,000 year-old baby mammoth to be cloned!

Writing by Webmaster on Saturday, 12 of April , 2008 at 8:55 am - - 65 views

This find yields a 37,000 year old baby mammoth with its trunk still intact, eyes in place and small tufts of fur still on its skin. It was named ‘Lyuba’ after the wife of a nomadic reindeer tribesman hunter who found it. It is hoped by top scientists that the DNA cells are well preserved enough that the mammoth can be cloned, in order to study their evolution and possibly bring back and create 10,000 B.C. on Earth.
